Crystal Coast Life believes that life is best when it's fully immersive & FUN. When we met Bernal inspiration sparked.
Bernal loves selling his works of art, but wanted to find a way to connect his patrons to each piece of art. To let the uniqueness of each masterpiece tell a story. In partnering with Crystal Coast Life we have created a way to do just that!
This 4 hour class (every day, 9am-1pm) is great for any skill level. Select from 3 options of functional wood tableware to create your masterpiece. You can choose to paint your own unique design or let Bernal sketch out a traditional pattern and teach you how to paint it.
When you're finished we will seal your masterpiece and hand deliver it to where you are staying in San Pancho.

Experienced Painters:
For those with painting experience Bernal can show you traditional patterns and techniques so you can craft your own masterpiece of functional art. You can also choose to paint your own designs!
Ready to Learn!
For those that want some guidance Bernal is happy to work with you! He will take your input to create a one of a kind design for you. He can help you pick out colors to use. He will then sketch that design onto your bowl and guide you on how to paint your masterpiece!
No matter your skill level, every paint stroke will capture your unique journey along the Crystal Coast. You will finish with a one of a kind piece of functional art that blends Mexican culture with the uniqueness that is YOU.
Paint your own piece or collab with a group!
We book this workshop by number of finished products, not by the number of people that attend. This allows friends and family members the ability to share a piece!

If everyone in your party wants to paint their own piece then please select that number during the booking process. We will have everyone's individual pieces ready for them.

If you want to paint the same piece of art with a friend or family member you only have to select 1 participant when you book this experience! Please tell us in the notes during checkout how many people will be attending so we can have the proper seating arranged for you.

On the day of your workshop you will meet at the beautiful Oliva's Restaurant & Bar on the beach in San Pancho, Nayarit.
Painting at the tables in the shaded bar area - The backdrop to your workshop will be sunshine, blue skies, and the crashing sounds of waves. There's truly no better way to experience Mexico.
Ever get snacky while you create? Complimentary chips & salsa will be waiting for your arrival!
Drinks and breakfast/lunch will be available to order from Oliva's throughout your workshop.

A note from Bernal: With proper care these pieces will last a lifetime. Hand wash only with a non-abrasive sponge. Keep out of direct sunlight.
